Some Latino students at UCF have reported a decline in mental health amid the uncertainty created by President Donald Trump's immigration policies, enacted within his first 24 hours in office.As the nation adjusted to the new presidential administration, a divisive political climate was created. Immigration-related policies, such as the travel ban and increased border security efforts, were seen as fueling anxiety and uncertainty in immigrant communities.

The Kappa Delta Sorority at UCF has gained national recognition after posting a TikTok reel of its members dancing to Jennifer Lopez's “Jenny from the Block.”Lopez commented on and reposted the video and followed Kappa Delta's account on TikTok.
